An Aria

Why is poetry like an aria

Before an audiance unseen?

Why does my heart rise to the sound

That the maestro directs?

I am captivated at the thoughts

That my pen puts to paper.

I, but a paltry poet at best,

Seem to leave the music in my head.

I, the conductor who hears music

That is played, as in a symphony.

Yet cannot compose a melody

With words that remain in my head.

Yes, I am the writer, composer,

That can tell a sharp from a flat.

The melody may not come through,

For it remains in my heart.

Only those who know you and read into your
words what you wish to express can hear the melody...
A melody you express quite well :)

YOUR MELODIC WORDS ARE ARIAS WHICH I KNOW WILL NEVER CEASE. YOU ARE THE WRITER OF THE SONGS WHICH THE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA PLAYS, YOU ARE THE INSTRUMENTS WHICH BRING FORTH YOUR MELODIES AND YOU ARE THE MAESTRO WHICH CONDUCTS SO EXPERTLY THEIR PLAYING. AND THUS, EVEN WHEN YOU THINK YOU ARE NOT... YOU ARE STILL BRINING FORTH THOSE ARIAS SENT FROM ABOVE... THAT YOU HEAR IN YOUR HEART AND HEAD SO BEAUTIFULLY. THANK YOU, GEORGE. LIKE AN ANTIQUE...YOUR GIFT GROWS MORE VALUABLE WITH AGE. THANKS FOR SHARING, MY DEAR FRIEND. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS

Sing, heart! I can faintly hear the melody echoing in your words. Open, heart! Let that melody with all the fortissimo you can gather be heard.

Love ya!

Jane
