I placed a thought upon my shelf By all the books I haven't read. I'll let it mingle through the pages Gaining wisdom from the sages. I am but a simple soul at best The less I know the more I rest. And when my thought comes back to me I'm amazed at how smart it can be. One day I might just read a book Where my thought has wandered through. I might surprise those thoughts of mine By the knowledge I might find in them.

Ah! It's a luxury to take time to read, I mean really read......all other thoughts cast aside to travel to another place and time......it's a journey to which every person should pour on one's self often.
