An Aging Mind

Pacing the dust covered floor

Of an aging mind.

Where thoughts are gently covered.

 

I uncovered a few to view

Why they have languished

In  solitary for so long.

 

Their tranquility

Was of my making,

They quickly replied.

 

Well that's the part of growing old

And not having an active mind

That will stir things up now and then.
