At the bottom of a bottomless pit,

I'm scavenging for fossils lost in time.

I see my reflection in the pool's light,

As if in a world of day, knowing no night.

Here and there an artifact of lost times,

Unknown of the eons past history.

Yet I search for the simplest of my thoughts

That have a connection in what time wrought.

Have I entered a domain lost in time

That has no relativity to now?

I find my mind has awakened an id,

Of a time long gone, when I was a kid.

George, sometimes I believe my id is all that is alive and working their in the old gray matter. But you know, it certainly isn't a bad place to be. I like the way you interpreted this. I wish you love and peace my dear friend. Jon Michael Happy Easter

Life has gone full cycle. We all return in time to those simpler pleasures of the initial learning about the world around us. Well expressed.
