There's a smile in her eyes That welcomes me home. There's a wink that is fetching, That I have come to know. She hails from the clouds; A saint among saints. Soon I'll find her, My fondest hope. She dwells in God's heaven; Loaned to me on earth. She knows the peace, That God has promised. The days are now shorter, The end almost in sight. I know not the hour, When my spirit will depart.
