The day was full of splendor,
Too soon the night has come.
My friends were happy,
And that made me happy too.
I rested on my old bed,
And soon my dreams had come.
I was lofted to the heavens,
Where only angels are from.
There amongst the stars,
I gazed down at the world.
So many people, so many thoughts,
All hoping for a better tomorrow.
In the end we seem to muddle through
And find the hidden rainbows.
The ones we dreamed of long ago,
Have suddenly come true .
Think positive and set your goals that
lovely direction as this poem is lovely...

Wonderful poem, George, a sign of imminent renewal,
an era drawing to a close and a fresh hope re-emerging
at the very moment of apparent loss.
Blessings!
Love ya!

I so enjoyed these verses but especially this one:
There amongst the stars,
I gazed down at the world.
So many people, so many thoughts,
All hoping for a better tomorrow.
The way the world is now, so many are hurting, so many murders, burglaries, bombing and killing for no apparent reason. I feel for all those people affected in the Boston Marathon bombings..may God be with them!
Many blessings,
