It Looks Swell

Some where in the dust

That settled long ago.

In the archives you'll find

The actions of that show.

 

They stir the memories collection

Of art no longer still, but alive.

Etched, as if by an artist's hand,

There in time, it still survives.

 

I can see the outline created

By an imagination that's well.

Though the ages have dulled it,

Once dusted, it looks swell.

Photos capture a moment that's gone, George,
but.... heart keeps image of those we've
lost save from really losing them.

Wish I had hard copy pics of my childhood, but only got memories that are fogged in my cloudy brain...still fun to see them every now & then...e

Swelled my heart. I like to look at old pictures. More than ten thousand words, they portrayed the way things really were.

This reminds me of looking through pictures and paintings in the attic which bring back memories which, "Once dusted, it looks swell."
