The Morning Mist

My thoughts were covered

With the morning mist.

As if they lay apart from me,

Composed from reality.

Where upon my wonder lies,

That this thought is blank I see.

I the master of all thoughts,

One, it seems, escaped from  me.

I'll ponder through the morning hours,

How this thought broke free.

For by itself it has no life-

I the one who holds the key.

The master sometimes needs the nourishment
the morning mist can bring to him and make
all the thoughts full and supple :)

It certainly is amazing how thoughts escape us. I find that the older I get the more thoughts are escaping. I like to think that it is a result of our modern, multitasking environment. If we could just get back to simpler things, thoughts would stay around a little longer.

Good thoughts. I find if I open the day with prayer the day goes so much better. That devil never sleeps but when he hears the name of Jesus he weeps!

Have a Blessed Memorial Day weekend!
