Waiting aound the corner

Was a thought I let free.

It was standing by it self,

Just hoping to meet me,

Here it was all alone,

I recognized it instantly.

Never thought I'd see it again,

But it waited patiently.

It told me what it wanted,

Seems it was incomplete.

I filled in the missing void,

And got it back on its feet.

Hate to see a thought wasted,

Wandering around aimlessly.

This thought was wise enough,

To come back to who set it free.

This is classic, the best kind of poetry that encourages thought and spurs it into action.

George, I wish my thoughts were that intelligent. Once the majority of mine leave their gray matter nest it is hasta la vista baby. I hope that I someday encounter one that I set free, incomplete, so I might have the opportunity to set it straight. May peace and love be always with you my dear friend. Jon Michael
