Mermaids

Mystical moments that arise from the sea,

Are captured with the allure I see.

Mermaids dancing on top of the waves;

Such beauty I've never seen in my days.

I am the captain, who has sailed the seas-

Never have I seen mermaids dancing free.

Was this a vision my eyes beheld?

But I shall recount forever this tale.

I've always been attracted by the boobs, although sometimes covered discreetly by seaweed. The fish part may be good for swimming but it leaves no attraction, whatsoever. In fact, I've always been repelled by smelly fish slime. Therefore, why would anyone fantasize over half a woman? Now a merman, that's really a fantasy. With his only sexy part, even his abs, covered up in fish scales. Go figure.
