Walking naked in the morning sun,

On a beach of forgotten lore.

No palm trees to shade me,

Just burned to the core.

Fish are my companions daily,

As I swim around the island,

Looking for some vegitation,

But nothing is on the land.

There are crabs that I delight in.

Raw, as there is no fire here.

Saw a sail in the distance,

But it never came near.

Days, months, and years went by

Still just a lonely person.

Yearning for the human touch and voice,

Slowly I lose my reason.

What a life! If I were in your shoes, someone would come walking along and ask me if he could borrow five bucks!

Love ya!

This could be a metaphor for a single, lonely persons life...though I would like to be on that desert island by myself, though I doubt I could live too long without all these damn meds I am on...who knows...? e
