Stirring the thoughts

That are idle in my mind.

Creating an idea

From what I find.

Weaving them with words,

That are the clothes they wear.

Naked as a jay bird,

Until I comb their hair.

It can stand the test of time,

If only in a poets thoughts.

For he is the master

From which a poem is brought.

Little recognition sought,

But he sets his goal high.

Hoping to transcend.

Any negatives with a sigh.

I love the flow in this metaphorical offering, George. I find your poem symbolically meaningful. Thank you. Love and peace to you,

That's what I've been doing as well,George. I've been stirring the thoughts that are idle in my mind. I call it writer's block in my case. It comes and goes.

Love ya!

Jane
