How I miss those moonlight nights,
And the lipstick traces.
Left upon my collar white,
From all our close embraces.
We lived in our own little world,
Too in love to notice anything else.
We shared our innermost secrets,
And became one In the eyes of God.
Now the ages share our mermories
Of those years when we were two.
Soon to know the bliss of heaven
And my God waiting with you.
You excel in romantic poetry.. and it seems your Florence still serves as your muse, dear King George.
A lovely piece of poetry!
