Passing a thought Through a sieve To extract Its essence. Slicing it For exigence That are words On paper. There it lies exposed, A life created. Sterile but alive, A poem is born.

I sort of think of poems as my children. I have hundreds of them. A thought which has some significance for me, as I have no real chidren of my own. I like this George. Bob

Hey George,

I woke up to this wonderful poem of you conjured. All is well except for the last line...

There it lies exposed,

A life created.

A poem is born,

Sterile but alive.

I would end it with, "A poem is born!" Otherwise it's excellent!
