We are in the Advent of times,

Preparing for  Christmas.

The first season in the church year,

Where we inwardly put on new clothes.

The theme is to be merry,

And shop till you drop.

But we can forget

Too easily, The glory of His birth.

Office parties can lead to excess,

So beware, it is in your best interest.

Don't drink and drive, you hear often,

Yet many soon forget.

Yes it is the season to wear new clothes,

Cleanse the body inwardly, in prepartion

For this great day that will arrive soon.

Then we can truly say, Holy Christmas.
