Expanding A Thought
I like the makeshift
Of expanding a thought.
Unlike a rubber band,
It does not snap back.
It is only for amusement,
Of a mind never idle,
To see the folly involved
In stretching a point.
Moot as it may be,
A thought must be formed.
Less the readers mind drifts,
And your thought is lost.
I find it amusing and vain,
To think thoughts are worth the ink.
But less I bore you to dismay,
I shall leave it for you to think.
