Can I, a poet of sorts,

Entrance the reader,

As an actor on a stage

Will by his articulation?

Not for me to say, but hope

The words will have that affect.

Woven in the words, a thought,

Not seemingly apparent.

I can mend a blanket

With a needle and thread.

But the tear will be apparent,

As no seamstress am I.

Words can mend a thought

In the mind of a reader.

But on second thought,

He will know it's blarney.
