Gnomes

A fable in thought

Is what I was taught.

A story long past

With characters last.

 

Boxing at shadows

Deep in the meadows.

A past time for gnomes

Who can't find their homes.

 

They look so funny,

Bigger than a bunny.

But don't get them mad

Or your'll be so sad.

 

They can romp and play

Any time of day.

So if you want some sleep,

Let them have their way.
