Building a thought castle,
Like you would by the shore.
There you work with sand,
Less malleable, are thoughts.
One I envision, the other I see.
Both I can create, the master in me.
Though they are far apart,
In my mind, they can be one.
O for a brush and canvas
That I may paint what my mind sees.
Words would then be thoughts
Placed where everyone can see.
Writer or painter, the world is my canvas.
I can choose the medium best suited,
To express the thoughts that come to me,
And let the world determine its worth.
