My Fair Maiden

She was a fair maiden, She had a smile so true . Her laugh was from the heart, Nothing phony about her. She set my heart afire When her kisses lingered. She was my one desire, No one else would do. Many a night we cuddled, Love came into bloom. Our hearts became as one, Soon I proposed to her. That was many years ago, So much love in between. Now she is in heaven, God only loanded her to me.
