How can I add to yesterdays joy,

Just can't be done.

Yesterday has gone away,

And with it all the fun.

 

There are new tomorrows,

They tell me for sure.

It's today that haunts me,

And I've found no cure.

Reads like someone needs to come up with something to do every day that is fulfilling. Otherwise, yesterday will become dismal and so will tomorrow.
