Negative thoughts, Easy to acquire. Requires no intelligence, A comedic satire. Building a home, No mortar found. We are the mortar That make it bound. Life are the bricks, We the brick layers. We have been taught By the sooth sayers. Yet we can tell If the building is level. We have our eyes To detect the devil.

I have to agree with Ron. Satire may be the highest form of comedy simply because it requires intelligence.

Satire often reveals the truth when the prevailing thought is absurdly wrong. Throughout history, satire has created some of the greatest literary works like Gulliver's Travels and Alice's Wonderland. Those who do not find satire delightful are old fuddy-duddies.
