Snake Eyes

The probabilities are lost

Like dice in a crap game.

Shoot the works, heard no more;

Table as empty as my pocket.

 

Excitement has waned, interest lost.

No more thrill at the dice last toss.

Seven, eleven wasn't meant to be-

Just snake eyes looked back at me.
