There are those melancholy days
When it's tough to shake the blues.
It seems it gets a grip on you
And hangs on for dear life.
Memories are so precious,
When days were young at heart.
They can be your life saver,
If you not let the blues get a start.
We all seem to experience sadness.
It is just part of life as we age.
Death is no stranger, but likes to linger
Within the hearts its has broken.
Somewhere there's a new tomorrow.
Somewhere a child is born.
Somewhere you'll see a bird fly,
The sweet bird of happiness.
