Sitting on the dock,

Fishing pole at hand.

Baited the hook and cast,

Ready to catch some fish.

I'm never in a hurry,

Nor downcast if fish don't bite.

I'm getting my dose of sunshine,

While relaxing on the pier.

I caught a couple of keepers,

Enough for supper tonight.

Packed my gear and headed home,

Where my bride will catch a kiss.

This really brings back memories of growing up in Fairport Harbor, Ohio and sitting on the pier fishing with my father and three brothers.

Love ya!

Reads like a perfect day. I just heard that sunshine actually promotes long life rather than shortens it like previously thought. Sciences were ever getting things wrong, but fishing is forever.

There is nothing more beautiful than having yourself
in nature... Being one with creation and appreciating
time for yourself... Even if the end result is not
productive as in catching that fish, it brought you more...

But, you got a couple keepers for your patience :)

Love and Light,
Lily
