LOL at Ron's comment. When you live up to George's age, you would have known what it's like out there without even having to step out. I like it that George thinks his thoughts and share them with us all the time.
It is amazing how our thoughts can take us anywhere we want. However, in my travels, the places I've been to are often nothing like I thought of them before I got there. In fact, I found the real places to be much richer (especially in their people) and multifaceted than what I read or thought I understood of those places.
It's okay to travel in our minds to our own utopia where all troubles fall away. But it's also okay to put our feet firmly on the ground and face reality head on without any preconceived notions about what it's like "out there."
