Yearning

Selecting thoughts

That have lingered too long.

Postage stamp pasted

On letter abroard.

 

Love can't be dismissed

When the heart still yearns.

My body misses the contact

That love so freely gave.

 

Time and an ocean blue,

Keeps us separated for now.

The distant future beckons

For me to be with you again.

It is as though you were speaking about me...
My love is in the Netherlands
He dumped me and my yearning will never fade George...
He left me heartbroken and he is happy now...
That is sadness, as it tells me he was never truly
in love with me...
My heart still breaks daily as I struggle to be well...
