Where have thoughts of yesterday gone,

That I treasured in a new light.

They were put into a poem I wrote,

But alas they seem to have taken flight.

I shall wonder what the poem was about,

As time seems so fleeting and loves labor lost.

But daylight brings another day and with it

The frost of time shall melt, when I put it to rhyme.
