Memories

I remember those kisses goodnight,

That lingered till morning.

Couldn't wait till I saw you again.

You were my hearts delight.

 

Those romantic walks in the park,

Lasting until it was dark.

The movies we hardly saw,

As we necked in the last row.

 

Those were the memories

Of days now long gone.

Still seems like yesterday,

In memories that never go.

What a wonderful thing to have! Fond memories make life worth living when you can no longer still do those things, but know that you did them and that they were so good.
