There are thoughts

That mingle with ideas.

Strange happenings,

Opacity lingers.

Not obscure or transparent,

But an observant object.

Sounds eminate but can't

Distinguish the content.

Possibly a dream sequence,

Born of yesterdays nightmare.

Seldom do they linger a day,

As they are forgotten so quickly.

The poem paint a picture of a dream that seems true. Too much late night TV and I get bad dreams too.

I think we all have these, both in dreams and in daydreams. For some, like great inventors, these ideas are captured and put to use in some physical form. For writers, it's even easier. They can be the source of poetry, a daily log, or even the spark for a short story or novel.

Good perception shown in this poem.

Ron
