Transfiguration and all things spiritual are with us by degrees, George, and some we glimpse and some we perhaps don't. Others are a trick of the light, the mind or grief/happiness, whatever. I like this; it's a reassurance that life, as we know it, is not the be all and end all. xx

Some people can see things that others can't. A friend I know through work can see tall dark shadows almost on a daily basis, and he can also hear strange noises as well as if someone is tearing or crunching up papers. He claims he can see dead employees at our work place. Several employees had committed suicide while they were still working. Some due to family problems and some were work-related. Sometimes he would see them standing near the photocopying machines; and other times they would be sitting at empty desks. Sometimes he would see bright lights also. I, personally, have not seen anything that he claims he did, but I do believe him whenever he tells me stuffs that are happening. He's not scared of them because he can see them all the time.

I wish I could say I've seen ghosts George. Never seen one. Sure would like to. When I was very young my mother claims we lived in a house where a man hanged himself in the downstairs bedroom. I guess I was too young to hear and see what she claimed she did. My second stepfather claimed he saw my first stepfather in the house. I never saw him. Guess I missed out. I liked your poem though. It makes me feel like I'm really missing something. Oh well. Bob
