Foregotten are the yesterdays
When I was young and unafraid.
My brashness was not noticed,
As a smile I always wore.
Yes, one can be unassuming,
And not notice our own faults.
Few people will ever tell you,
What a bore you have become.
One day you come to know,
That life is in those you meet.
Understanding what makes one tick,
Is when you know you're a man.
You are a man George, and a kind one too. Love your poetry.
Love and blessings,
~Linda
