Can the evening dispel my sadness,

That has lingered through the day?

Can the sleep that I’ve been waiting,

Erase the emptiness of my day?

Death takes no holiday,

It is with us day or night.

We the grievers must endure,

The plight death has left.

to me death is an avenue to a new beginning, Yes, we are sad and will cry but I believe there is more to come.

As we do older, those around us perish. It can be hard to take. So far, I have found the death of others to be a time to reconnect with their loved ones. I have not felt despair. That is not to say that I won't in the future. It just hasn't happened for me, yet.

Death is usually a sad event. Our society views death that way. Some cultures it's a reason for celebration, for the soul has an eternal place to stay. We say one thing at funerals and another in private sometimes. The truth is we cannot escape death so we should have a counselor to prepare us for that time. When I was near death in the Hospital one day. I was overjoyed with hope, I knew where I was going to stay. If I never had that experience, I would say that I am not so sure. But now I know what I will feel like when I face death, for it's only the body for which death and dyeing has no cure.
Peace be with you.
