There is make believe every day,

For this poor romantic fool.

There in the moon light,

Are yesterdays vapors.

There are moments in thought,

When the yestetrdays are real.

Imagination adds to the delight

Of the kisses, that linger on.

Why should I not realize

That those days, though gone,

Will always linger in a heart

That knows its beat is yours.

Maybe tomorrow

I'll not see the dawn.

Hopefully I'll see you,

In God's heavenly throne.

I think when one reaches a certain point in life, it certainly helps that have a good memory of those wonderful, wild times of love and youth. And even better, to continue to write about them vividly.

Oh thats just great, George, now you want us all to die and meet you beyond the pearly gates...maybe I am not ready to kick the proverbial bucket...in time I will meet you there, if I get in as my life has not been very angelic...-e-

Well done George. We all don't know what tomorrow brings. That is why each day is in the present. Amen
