Life can be fascinating If we do the coloring. An artist paints what he sees, Regardless of the object. But his use of the brush, Is what makes or breaks him. His colors must be unique, As is the movement of his brush. He has his paint on an easel, Blends it to the object seen. His creation is for other eyes, To behold his work of art.

I feel that an artist puts his soul on canvas when ever he paints and a poet does when he writes.

Art objects and paintings are so special and personal. They can be appealing to one audience, and yet doesn't appeal to another. Each piece of art has a life of its own that only the observer can connect with it.

I just saw a 60 minute special on Matisse. Near the end of his life, he focused on simple collages made from cutout paper and cloth, usually on a white background. They are stunning and so innately beautiful in the abstract. It is wonderful to behold. Like your poem.
