Random are my thoughts

As they search an empty mind.

Seems there is no adventure

That this body can undertake.

Movies are my life now,

Seeking the swarve don wan.

Having his way with women,

Always the best with a sword.

Escapism is a delight

When there's nothing else to do.

I have had my moments,

And survived a war too.

Escapism is good for the soul, able to regroup before continuing
in life

It's really great there are all those screenwriters out there who keep coming up with more fantastical dilemmas and battles just to keep our bored minds titillated for a while. Quite frankly, I'm getting a bit tired of battling zombies. Sometimes memories of real battles past are much better than hypothetical swordplay in fantasyland.

There's nothing wrong with escapism once in awhile, Whether it's TV, reading a book, Or just daydreaming.

I'm only about four years behind you. Missed the wars. I am into the escapism trend also.

She Intrigues Me, Revelations Of Love by Jon Willey

If you tend to believe romantic, passionate, masculine poetry is a thing of past eras, read "She Intrigues Me," and be swept away in the beautiful craft of a contemporary poet of love.
