There is a rock

From another dimension.

What it holds, I delve to see.

 

Here in my limited knowledge,

I try to fathom the unknown.

Only to be thwarted by ignorance.

 

Being careful, as I

Probe its interior workings,

Not knowing what to expect next.

 

I capture a piece

That I can place

Under my microscope.

 

What I see is moving;

Some sort of a life form,

Never seen before.
