..."how can it (life) be alive?"...good question, George...my short
answer....by enjoying it (life)...trying to figure it out by....looking
at one's own reality...being passionate...loyal...devoted...trustful
and aware of a kind word around...thus...alive...like a musician
through his/her notes...an artist through a painting-brush...a poet
through a pen and blank page of white paper...it takes courage
...I know...but it is like a prayer in the morning...thanking God
for the gift of being alive...and it is this word of gratitude...that
conquers the fear and reality of dying...prolongs life....but let's
go back to you...the poet-and-scientist investigating the concept...
of LIFE.....

Makes me think of those insects encased in some kind clear rock or like that...I could see how they might be frozen to death, but how do they come out alive after millions of years, supposedly, encased in this piece of stone...~e~
