Part of a series of poems
A friend of mine Stopped by my house And I showed him What I was doing. He was intrigued, As he studied this in college. He looked through my microscope To exam the rock closer. He turned and with a look Of amazement, he smiled. I think I just saw something moving, But of course it can't be so.

...back to the rock seen under your microscope George...move
your field of view to a medium resolution image...see the cleavage
of grains of quartz...in 50 shades of grey...you are right...something
is moving there....but look...what's to the middle....an inqueous solid
rock....sorry...that one haven't moved since the last eruption...when
the lava flow...cooled....I'm dazed by the revelations...can't wait for more!
