I am captivated beyond my senses.
Knowing it must be only a dream.
For looks like hers were made in heaven,
For the angels, who tend only to God.
Still if it's only a vision, It is all mine.
How can I claim possesion, alas
When I cannot hold her in my arms,
She who would be the love of my life.
Nay, I will have to be content and lonely,
Knowing it must only be a dream, not real.
But to have known such beauty,
Is something I shall treasure, though surreal.
