My Failings

Though I lecture myself

For my failings.

It is in you that I trust

To give me strength.

 

You are the Host

Of my salvation,

The Savior who died

For all my sins.

 

On You I rely

For my salvation.

Walking the path

You laid down.

 

At times I veer off

But once in the rough,

I realize  my mistakes,

And turn back to You.
