Casting a shadow

From the candle light.

Seemed kind of scary,

When a kid at night.

On the radio

There were spooky stories

That left me nervous in bed,

But never missed one.

Those were the days

When no tv's were around.

Stories got to your imagination,

No fooling around.

Once they told of

An invasion and it was believed.

People ran into the streets

Wondering where the attackers were.

Orson Wells became famous

For this story that scared people.

Goes to show what can happen,

If a story is made believable.
