Woke up way to early,

On a cold friday morn.

Will have to hope sandman

Returns and I sleep till dawn.

I don't need much sleep,

Hangover from the war.

Don't know how I survived,

When sleep was so deprived.

Good thing I was a sharp shooter,

Who could peel an apple to its core.

A hundred yards is all I needed,

To set my sights for a score.

My mom says ‘If you can’t say anything nice then don’t say anything’. Sorry mom but under the guise of poetic license I penned these beauties.
