Probably my last poem,

As I finish my last book.

Lack of responses

Seems to be the norm.

 

I give as I receive,

No more no less.

Ten years of writing

Takes its toll

 

Being original

In every poem

Is not for 

The faint hearted.

 

But Russian poets

Never found this a problem.

They can write endlessly.

What a mind this takes.
