Am I at the end of my margin,
Not another page to turn?
Has my story been told?
Or is it just too old?
On goes time without a wimper,
Left with just my thoughts.
The sky may change its color
But alas I'll always be blue.
Such sadness should not linger
Beyond a day or two at the most.
Yet it still hangs on and I am sad
That life has to be this bad.

On the other hand, the world, in spite of the conflicts and disasters in the news every day, is getting better every year, for everyone. Perhaps, it is long life that may lead to boredom and pain in latter years that weren't afforded before modern medicine, good food and water, and disease control, that's getting you down.
Hopefully you'll feel in a better mood for the next poem.
Ron
Love ya!
