Spanking the ass of an idea,

That didn't warn me it was a repeat.

Bear with me in my aged condition

As sometimes I'm lost for words.

Beg steal or borrow

A poem will come forth.

Can't leave an empty space

Where a poem should be.

The true artist will frown on me

For being so careless with words.

The intent was there to be good

But that doesn't always happen.

I spank the ass of my ideas constantly, dear George, as sometimes themes are just worth repeating but in different words and ideas. You're never short of poetic breath, reasoning or expression which is why your pages are NEVER empty, words or no words. Keep spanking!! :) xx

You've got a schedule to keep, and if your memory isn't too deep, it's easy to fall back on what you already knew as easy as going to sleep. Or falling off a log… Whatever?
