I used to pass by
A nice looking picket fence.
It caught my attention,
With its evenly placed pickets.
Painted white, like it was new,
Yet it had aged, but not much.
It separated the side walk
From a lush green lawn.
But it was this fence
That I admired so much.
It was hard to tell its age,
With its brand new paint job.
But it was a beautiful fence,
That hid its age so well.
Love ya!
