Bable

The  building of the Tower of Bable,

Caused God to intervene.

He struck each man

With a language different.

 

No one understood

What the other was saying.

Thus this tower was never finished,

And man's climb to heaven, stopped.

I think this poem could apply to the politics of today. A lot of babble that no one understands,m and so nothing gets done.
