The fantasy of love Grips the heart strings, And plays a tune Only two can dance. Poor mortals are we When caught in this web. Our escape is preordained At the moment we say I do.

There's a bit of a contradiction here as though by being trapped in marriage one is free to escape. Like an on-again, off-again, divorce.

But then, I never get your poems. My mind is too feeble.

Far too many times when we say "I do" the rite of everyday living and routine can, an does, cause problems for love and divorce lawyers reap the rewards.
