I knew when I saw her She had something I liked and had to know. Asked her girlfriend To introduce her to me. The next day we met. It was forever I thought. War caused a few years delay But at wars end I proposed. A happy lasting marriage Ending when God called her home. Just memories now, but oh so sweet.
